At the beginning of each month, the widows are invited to a grand gathering.
They meet with fellow widows and receive encouragement and guidance from each other and from renowned professionals. These monthly gatherings include a lavish meal with hashkafic speeches and entertaining programs that empower them to keep going through the month.

In a widow’s life, each month comes along with additional challenges. Yismach Yisrael provides services to lighten her burden with dignity.
When there is no main breadwinner, she can’t buy fish and poultry.
Yismach Yisrael ensures that the almanah receives these expensive provisions with dignity.
She goes down to the butcher and fish store herself and selects everything she needs. She doesn’t need to worry about the bill. Yismach Yisrael will completely cover the costs.
She receives her pre-ordered package with all the fish and poultry she needs for the week. This way she doesn’t need to leave the house for an extra errand, yet she knows that her bill is fully paid for by Yismach Yisrael.
Yismach Yisrael holds her together- emotionally and physically.
We can’t bring her husband back. But we can help her with the masculine tasks.
She has no money to pay for the maintenance of her apartment. Is that a reason her home should physically fall apart?
Be it a broken lock, or just getting that nail into the wall. There is no husband around to pull out the toolbox.
Yismach Yisrael has a ready team of workers who go to the home of the widows and do handyman work.
She is delighted with our distributions.

Be it an overdue dentist bill or complex chinuch guidance, the widow always has who to turn to. Yismach Yisrael is ready to help in any way. We are connected to knowledgeable experts who guide the widow as they solely raise their children as orphans.

Over 200 families from Northern Israel benefit from our pre-holiday distributions. The delight on their faces as they close the door is what keeps Yismach Yisrael going.
Monthly Gatherings
Before a holiday or just at the beginning of a new month, Yismach Yisrael has a grand program in store for the almanos. The women go home well fed and entertained. They are refueled to go home and care for their families.
Shabbos in the Kinar Hotel
Widows at the Kinar hotel actually feel like women. Yismach Yisrael arranges a fabulous, and successful weekend.The women sing, dance and have a great time.
As lonely and vulnerable she feels, she needs time for herself too.
We find opportunities for them to socialize and enjoy some time off.
